Are you selling Lighthouse Photographs or Lighthouse Art?

Both, all of the lighthouse prints available for purchases on this site started with one of our photographers taking a high resolution photograph. Once the photograph has been post processed one of our graphic artist draws the photograph using a Wacom tablet. This process allows our graphic artist to render the photograph into a digital oil painting compete with brush strokes.

What are my printing options?

All of our prints are available on Kodak Professional ENDURA Metallic Paper and a museum quality framed canvas in various sizes. Both products are rated to last over 100 years in a typical home setting and over 200 years in dark storage, neither product is intended to be displayed in direct unprotected sunlight.

Kodak ENDURA Metallic Paper uses a proprietary combination of film laminate layers to produce three-dimensional, outstanding, lasting images on an ultra-bright background. Its professional emulsion set provides extreme sharpness, brightness, and color saturation with an intense black density that increases visual appeal. This product is sold as a print only, no matting, no frame.

Museum quality Giclee canvases are printed using the finest pigments for stunning beauty for the best sharpness, brightness, and color saturation and intense blacks, our canvases are hand stretched and framed in a black wood frame.

What Guarantees or Warranties do I have when buying from Lighthouse Prints?

Lighthouse Prints warranties our Kodak metallic photo paper and our museum canvases free from manufacture defect, we warrantee printing to be free from error and defect, and if you are purchasing a framed canvas we also warrantee craftsmanship of the frame. All Prints and Canvases have a 1 year replacement warranty. Warrantee claims from shipping damage are also covered.

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee the colors you see are true and accurate as each computer will display them slightly differently. We do not warranty against physical damage unless the printing or manufacturing process was the cause of damage. We do not warrantee weather exposure.

How long will it take for my Lighthouse print to arrive?
Regardless if order a print or a canvas they are not sent to the print queue until you complete checkout. Please understand we are unable to stop your print once in the queue and we cannot expedite your order to the front of the queue. Orders are processed first come first served. Depending on how busy we are your print may be in the queue for as little as a day to as long as 5 days.

Once a print reaches the printer it usually will ship within 48 hours and depending on where we are shipping to could take 3 to 7 days. Please allow 1 to 2 weeks for prints to arrive from time of purchase.
Once a canvas reaches the printer it usually will ships within 7 to 10 days as the canvas must dry, be stretched and framed. Please allow 2 to 3 weeks for your canvas to arrive.
